About the Vue logo
Vue’s mark is a two-tone chevron: a bright green outer V and a dark slate-blue inner V. Evan You started Vue after working at Google Creative Lab, where he used AngularJS on prototyping projects; he released it publicly in February 2014. The mark has stayed visually intact across Vue 2 (Options API), Vue 3 (Composition API), and the Vapor Mode compilation work.
The colors are #42B883 (green, outer) and #35495E (dark slate blue-gray, inner). The pair reads well on light backgrounds; on very dark surfaces the inner chevron loses contrast, so consider a lighter backdrop or the monochrome version. On very small sizes (under 20px) the inner chevron starts to fuse with the outer; prefer the full logo rather than a monochrome reduction when space allows.
When to use this logo
Use the Vue logo for framework comparison pages (“React vs Vue vs Svelte”), tutorial intros, Nuxt/Quasar/Vuetify ecosystem diagrams, and any content targeting the Vue community. When placing next to Nuxt or Vite logos, match vertical optical alignment rather than bounding-box top — the chevron’s visual centre is slightly below geometric centre.
