Open WebUI is an open-source, self-hosted AI chat interface for local and cloud models that works with Ollama and OpenAI-compatible APIs, with RAG, tools and multi-user support.

## About the Open WebUI logo

The Open WebUI logo is the letters "OI" drawn as a heavy black ring and a vertical bar. The project began as Ollama WebUI before taking its current name, and the mark keeps the minimal black-and-white look of its interface.

The black logo disappears on dark surfaces, so use the monochrome version in white there.

## When to use this logo

Use Open WebUI in self-hosted AI stack diagrams, local LLM setup guides, homelab dashboards and chat UI comparisons. It pairs naturally with Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM, Docker and OpenRouter.
