## About the NovelAI logo

The NovelAI glyph is a fountain-pen nib built from a split, pointed tip, a round breather hole, and a pentagonal base with a small notched circle. The full "logomark" pairs the nib with a serif "NovelAI" wordmark. Both files come from the official NovelAI press kit. NovelAI launched in beta in June 2021 for storywriting, and image generation followed in October 2022.

The press kit offers the logo in dark navy (#191B31), Blonde (#F5F3C2) and white. The colored files use the dark navy version, which is hard to see on dark backgrounds, so use the monochrome file there. Other brand colors include Pink (#EC56A7) and Purple (#9773FF).

## When to use this logo

Use the NovelAI logo in AI storytelling and interactive-fiction tool lists, anime image generator comparisons, model catalogs that cover NovelAI Diffusion, and docs or community tools for writers and illustrators who use NovelAI. It pairs naturally with AI Dungeon, Character.AI, Stable Diffusion, Civitai and Midjourney in creative AI roundups.
