About the Ghostty logo
The Ghostty icon is a cartoon ghost with a terminal prompt for a face: a ”>” for one eye and a dash for the other. It is drawn in black on a white body with a blue (#3551F3) outline. The lockup adds “Ghostty” in black next to the ghost.
The icon reads well on light and dark backgrounds. The black wordmark disappears on dark surfaces, so use the monochrome lockup there.
When to use this logo
Use Ghostty in terminal emulator comparisons, macOS and Linux developer setup guides and dotfiles READMEs. It pairs naturally with Alacritty, Warp, iTerm2, Zig and tmux.
