About the Fennel logo
The Fennel logo is a round fennel bulb with a face: a cream bulb (#FFF3D7) with large dark eyes, topped by three green (#2CA02C) stalks, all outlined in dark grey (#444444). It is the official logo shown on fennel-lang.org. It was created by m455 and is © 2020 m455, released under CC BY-SA 4.0.
The dark outline keeps the logo readable on white, and the cream bulb stands out on dark backgrounds. The mono version keeps the logo’s line-art look: the outlines and eyes are solid, and the bulb and stalks are open.
When to use this logo
Use the Fennel logo in Neovim and editor file-type icon sets, in project READMEs for Fennel code, and in docs for LÖVE games, window manager configs and other Lua-hosted projects written in Fennel. It pairs naturally with the Lua, Neovim and LÖVE logos, and sits alongside Clojure and other Lisps in language comparisons.
