Dogecoin (DOGE) is a cryptocurrency created in 2013 by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer as a joke based on the Doge meme, now a widely traded proof-of-work coin.

## About the Dogecoin logo

The Dogecoin logo is a gold coin (#C3A634) with a white "Ð", a "D" with a horizontal bar through it, the currency's symbol.

The gold coin reads well on light and dark backgrounds.

## When to use this logo

Use Dogecoin in crypto payment buttons, exchange and wallet asset lists and price tickers. It pairs naturally with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Binance and Coinbase.
