## About the Adobe Animate logo

The Animate icon is a dark navy rounded square (#00005B) with the letters "An" in lavender (#9999FF). It follows Adobe's app icon system of a two-letter mnemonic on a dark tile, and shares its colour pair with After Effects and Premiere Pro, Adobe's other video and motion apps.

Adobe planned to discontinue Animate in February 2026, then reversed the decision and kept it available in maintenance mode, with bug and security fixes but no new features.

The navy tile blends into very dark backgrounds, but the lavender letters stay legible.

## When to use this logo

Use Adobe Animate in animation tool comparisons, Flash-to-HTML5 migration guides, motion design workflow diagrams and .fla file-type icons. It pairs naturally with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender and Figma.
